The world is dumping U.S. Treasuries; the most we’ve seen on record!
Looking back at our nation’s history, there have been two periods where the U.S. Treasury has had a negative twelve-month period while deficits rose: 1974 and 1979. Interestingly, what happened in the years that followed was a gold price rally of 127% and 92%.
