There’s an old saying in the business world, which holds true today as much as ever: great companies are created when there’s a need. In the 2020’s, there’s definitely a need for viable alternatives to junk food and wasteful products that consumers don’t want anymore.
Convenience is a factor as well, and so is flavor – when it comes to food choices, the modern consumer doesn’t want to sacrifice taste in the pursuit of better food alternatives. They demand the whole package – and people are willing to spend their money on plant-based food of the absolute highest quality.
If old fast-food companies are now threatened by health-food start-ups, it’s their own fault, really. There’s a revolution going on and today’s businesses must either adapt or get left behind – and a handful will thrive amid this fast-changing landscape of consumer preferences.
A fascinating company that’s already making waves is Boosh Plant-Based Brands Inc. (CSE:VEGI, OTC:VGGIF), which hails from Canada but also has a rapidly expanding market presence in the United States.
According to Director, CEO, and Chairman Jim Pakulis, Boosh is a gateway for plant-based, gluten-free, non-GMO, healthy, protein-rich foods for the whole family to enjoy. That’s an apt description, and offering family-oriented fare is one of the defining characteristics of this company.

Unsurprisingly, Connie Marples is quickly becoming known as a leader and innovator in the plant-based food industry. She even won the 2020 BC Food & Beverage Rising Star award as a result of her successes with Boosh.
It’s truly a growth story, as Boosh expanded to 300+ stores in less than 18 months – that’s practically unheard of for a business that’s getting its name and products out.
